Sparkasse Vorderpfalz is the result of a successful merger in 2013 between Sparkasse Vorderpfalz Ludwigshafen am Rhein – Schifferstadt, Kreissparkasse Rhein-Pfalz and Kreis- und Stadtsparkasse Speyer. This led to the creation of the biggest savings bank in Rhineland-Palatinate, with more than 1,100 employees in 62 branches (including ATM locations/self service offices) and a balance sheet total of more than six billion euros.
Through the merger, the Sparkasse’s customers now have the option of creating added value in several service areas, such as corporate customers, private banking and online banking. This will be reflected in the quality of consulting and service. The former savings banks and the owners are convinced of the new, stronger savings bank: proximity, fairness, reliability and a close partnership with the customers will pay off. Through this merger, Sparkasse Vorderpfalz achieved its most important objectives: being a strong partner for private customers, a solvent lender for small and medium-sized companies, an attractive employer for employees, a reliable business promoter for the region of Ludwigshafen, Speyer, Schifferstadt and the Rhein-Pfalz district and a strong sponsor for foundations, kindergartens, schools, associations and the community.
