RKW Rheinland-Pfalz e.V. (RKW RLP) is a non-profit association with traditions since 1921, whose work focuses on the productivity of SMEs and primarily addresses rationalisation and innovation questions of SMEs in social dialogue. The RKW RLP is part of the nationwide RKW network whose umbrella organisation RKW e. V., a non-profit research and development institute funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi), operates the RKW competency centre. Apart from association-related work, RKW RLP operates two autonomous subsidiaries who independently offer consultation and certification services, some geared specifically towards SMEs and founding of businesses.
As laid down in the charter, RKW RLP particularly pursues the following tasks for SMEs:
Transfer of SME-relevant issues from sciences and practice
Education and promotion of innovation and rationalisation potential
Support of politics and administration in creating the necessary framework conditions
Our services at a glance: Working groups for businesses, SME consulting with focus on business management, personnel, quality management as well as funding options from federal and state programmes, founding, technology, IP and innovation, certification services.
