Parabel GmbH: Parabel for the power supply of the future

Parabel has been a constant PV-market player since 1992. Comprised of nearly 300 employees, Parabel GmbH made its way through the sector starting from roof systems installed on houses and industrial buildings to large open-site systems, patenting developments and winning prizes for its products. The photovoltaic systems are operated by the subsidiary Plan_E GmbH. The portfolio is rounded off by heating systems of Solvis and their own solar thermal energy systems for the field of large-scale plants (Parabel energy systems).

Project development, grid development as well as planning, constructing and operating large photovoltaic systems are amongst the core business areas of the engineering firm. Supporting the future of renewable energies, Parabel participates in politics, associations and within the sector and provides input with its innovative ideas. The company, for example, is currently developing and constructing the combined power plant Prignitz that will operate exclusively with regenerative power and feature all of the functionalities that fossil fuel power plants have. In doing so, Parabel is taking the concept of the transition to alternative energies one step further. Renewable energies can be generated locally, combined intelligently via in-house feed grids, structured and regulated before being fed into the grid, in such a way that they contribute effectively to grid stability.
