Innovative, growing strongly, business-friendly: from company establishment to succession, the state-owned Investment and Economic Development Bank (ISB) has contributed to the economic location of Rhineland-Palatinate offering top opportunities and possibilities to SMEs, in particular.
Besides customised financing, it offers companies and investors individualised combinations of reduced-interest loans, bonds, participations and grants. Support options further include funds from the federal government and the EU – the latter, for example, within the framework of the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
The state’s economic development agency stands for personalised advice, simplified application procedures and short handling times. ISB’s SME network includes the State Ministry of Rhineland-Palatinate for Economic Affairs, Climate Protection, Energy and Regional Planning, the chambers and the regional institutions of economic development.
Since its foundation in 1994, ISB has supported approximately 52,000 projects, generating or securing upwards of 346,000 jobs.
