International School Wiesbaden (ISW) offers an international, inquiry-based education for foreign and local German children from age three to grade 6, which focuses on educating the whole child. Children automatically transfer to the nearby Frankfurt International School in Oberursel after grade 6 where they can earn the International Baccalaureate Diploma after grade 12, which allows them to attend universities around the world.
The school is a leader in education and enjoys an excellent reputation regionally and around the world for the high quality of its faculty and staff, academic curriculum and non-academic programme.
The beautiful, purpose-built school building with its modern library, well-equipped IT lab, spacious gymnasium and large outdoor play area provides optimal surroundings for learning. The school is also particularly proud of its family atmosphere, where both new and old families have a strong sense of belonging to the school community.
