HypoVereinsbank – UniCredit Bank AG: HypoVereinsbank: anchored regionally, operated globally

HypoVereinsbank (HVB) is a member of UniCredit, one of Europe’s largest banking groups. With more than 19,000 employees, it is one of the largest German financial institutions.

HVB is responsible for the German business of UniCredit and at the same time serves as the competence centre for international investment banking. The Commercial Banking business segment assists all clients in the Private Clients Bank and the Unternehmer Bank business units with any standardised or individual service or consulting requirement. The Corporate & Investment Banking business segment aims to be the first port of call for large corporate and institutional customers who are looking for expert advice, quality products and processes.

In its German business, HypoVereinsbank relies on proximity to clients through a local sales organisation. The strengthening of regional responsibility in 2013 will open new growth potentials.

Like no other German bank, HVB combines regional roots with a group-wide network of banks in over 21 countries in Central and Eastern Europe and in Central Asia. HypoVereinsbank sees itself as a corporate citizen beyond the banking business and maintains an intense social commitment.
