The House of Finance brings together Goethe University’s interdisciplinary research on finance, monetary economics, and corporate and financial law. Nine academic research and training units with approximately 200 staff work together in the House of Finance. The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, the Department of Corporate and Financial Law, as well as affiliated institutes – such as the Center for Financial Studies, the Institute for Law and Finance, the E-Finance Lab, the Institute for Monetary and Financial Stability, the Graduate School of Economics, Finance, and Management, and the International Center for Insurance Regulation – all contribute to the House of Finance’s excellent research output. Numerous publications in top ranked journals, German legal commentaries and monographs testify to this. Goethe Business School and the Institute for Law and Finance offer programmes for executive education at the postgraduate level that meet the highest international standards. The Graduate School of Economics, Finance, and Management aims to establish a premier European center for quantitative and research-oriented graduate-level education in economics, finance and management. The House of Finance seeks to serve as a forum for an exchange of ideas on theory and practice for Germany, Europe and the rest of the world.
