The multi-functionality with which the Hockenheimring Baden-Württemberg, which opened in 1932, annually draws up to 700,000 visitors is a flagship attraction for the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region. Formula 1, DTM (the German touring car masters) and the NitrOlympX drag racing event, along with other top-class races, offer the finest in international motorsports. However, festivals such as Rock’N’Heim, and open-air events featuring AC/DC and Robbie Williams are just some of the legendary events held at the world-famous racetrack. Traffic safety courses, test drives by the automobile industry and extraordinary driving experiences are held through the year. Thousands of participants come to the Hockenheimring each summer when the BASF FIRMENCUP for companies invites everyone to take part in the running event held on the 4.574 kilometre track. Cyclists also come to the track for the Circuit Cycling event.
There is much to experience at the Hockenheimring. This tradition-rich track is fully booked on over 320 days a year and its many possibilities and locations provide the perfect setting for any type of event. For more information see www.hockenheimring.de.
