Glatt Systemtechnik GmbH: The latest pharmaceutical technology for customers all over the world

Glatt Systemtechnik GmbH was formed in 1991 from a part of Hochvakuum­­tech­­nik Dresden (HVD), which had many years of experience in the construction of high-precision and process technology plants. Today the company is an important manu­­fac­­turing location of the Glatt Group, head­­quar­­tered in the south of Germany, in Binzen. Glatt Systemtechnik GmbH makes modern machinery, plants and equipment for product series like product handling, total containment, wet and dry mixers, sieves and spheronizers for the pharmaceutical, food, feed, fine chemical and life science industries.
With 190 highly motivated employees, 35 are involved in research and development, the main emphasis of the company’s ac­­tivities is on the development and production of complex solutions, which are sold all over the world. A “Tech­­ni­­kum” with the latest state-of-the-art equipment is available for customers for developing or improving new products and processes. Since 1991, Glatt has been working on a series of major pro­­jects for well-known companies such as Bay­­er-Schering, Sanofi-Aventis, AstraZeneca, Novartis, Merck and Teva. In close cooperation with partners in­­vol­­ved in re­­search and de­­velopment, Glatt participates in the research and development of new kinds of light ma­­te­­rials for various industries, for example motor vehicle and plant manufacturing.
