Growth through knowledge – this claim has been the motto of the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW) in Lörrach ever since its formation in 1981. In the tri-national border region of Germany, France and Switzerland and directly adjacent to the Basle metropolitan region in Switzerland, the DHBW Lörrach has established itself as the leading practically oriented university in the region.
The trademark of the DHBW is its dual studies concept with alternate theoretical and practical units as well as its close cooperation with local companies and institutions. The comprehensive range of degree courses covers accredited bachelor’s degree courses in the business administration and engineering faculties, the online master’s degree Intelligent Embedded Microsystems and the masters’ degree Master in Business Management.
