What began as the Gerd Buss Stevedoring Company at the Port of Hamburg in 1920 has developed into an internationally operating logistics company. Today Buss Port Logistics stands for tailor-made transport solutions and covers all services along the logistics chain. Cargo of all kinds is handled at the company’s own terminals, on site at the customer’s facility or at any other place for that matter.
Buss Port Logistics operates efficient multipurpose terminals and plant ports for general and bulk goods, heavy lift cargo, containers, project cargo, and offshore wind components, with locations in Germany, the Netherlands and Turkey. Other port-specific services, such as stowage, lashing and securing, complete the portfolio.
Furthermore, Buss Port Logistics plans and develops new port facilities, and operates base ports, manufacturing ports and service ports as an offshore logistics company in Eemshaven in the Netherlands and at several other locations in Germany.
