Since its founding in 1969, apra has stood for the manufacturing of high-tech electronic casings and enclosures for a multitude of applications in the electronics industry, mechanical engineering, in measurement and control technology as well as in safety; information; and medical technology.
The NETcell cabinet system is used as a server rack or network cabinet in data centre applications.
All of apra’s products are based on 19“ technology, an international standard for electronics modules. Standard components, such as wall-mounted or desktop enclosures, small cases, module racks and plug-in units are available on short notice from the logistics centre and in an almost unlimited variety of sizes. The apra-group’s particular strength lies in manufacturing customer-specific casings and enclosures in a low, medium or large production volume combining materials such as steel, stainless steel, aluminium and plastic.
Various technologies, such as 3D printing for rapid prototyping, milling and bending technologies for individual casing solutions in small quantities, own tool making with moulding and even large-scale production, are leading technologies in plastics processing.
The 3D-CAD technology offers high flexibility when it comes to product design, and the subsequent implementation takes place in automated production.
